Alpek's third-quarter net income falls 48%

Alpek (San Pedro Garza García, Mexico), a subsidiary of Grupo Alfa (Monterrey, Mexico), reported a consolidated net income of 725 million Mexican pesos ($56 million) for the third quarter of 2013, down close to 48% from the pesos1.39 billion reported during the same quarter in 2012.
