AkzoNobel Buys Out Mexican Paint JV Partner

AkzoNobel’s Car Refinishes Americas business says it has bought out its Akzo Nobel Comex joint venture partner Comex (Mexico City), assuming full responsibility for marketing and distribution of the Sikkens, Lesonal, U-Tech, and Wanda brands in Mexico. Akzo previously had a 55% share in the venture, which was formed in 1995.
