Regions :: North America :: Canada Williams to proceed with Canadian PDH facility11:12 AM MDT | March 18, 2013 | Lindsay Frost Williams announced it will begin construction on a previously proposed propane dehydrogenation (PDH) facility in Alberta, Canada. The PDH facility will be the first and only in Canada and will produce about 1.1 billion lbs/year of polymer-grade propylene with the opportunity to double capacity in the future, the company says. Capital costs are expected to be up to C$900 million ($881 million) and will be funded from cash flow from its Canadian operations and cash on hand, Williams says.
