Williams Signs Gas Processing Agreement with Canadian Oil Sands Producer

Williams (Tulsa, OK) has signed a long-term gas processing agreement with a Canadian producer of oil sands. Williams will own, extract, transport, fractionate, and market the natural gas liquids (NGLs) and olefins recovered from offgas at its Fort McMurray, AB, upgrader. The volume of NGLs and olefins recovered are expected to be about 12,000 bbls/day by mid-2015, and about 15,000 bbls/day by 2018, the company says.
