Praxair Announces 10% Price Hike

Praxair says it will increase prices for argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen by 10%, effective September 1, or as contracts allow. The company will also raise helium prices by 5%, and facility fees or monthly basic charges and cylinder rental rates by 10%. The price increases apply to bulk and packaged industrial and medical gas customers in the U.S. and Canada.
