Nova to Upgrade Mooretown PE Plant

Nova Chemicals says it will invest about $78 million to replace aging equipment and increase production of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) at its Mooretown, ON plant. The province of Ontario is providing an additional $10 million loan for the new equipment, the company says. The facility has the capacity to produce about 740 million lbs/year of PE.
