NPE 2012: Polyolefins Industry 'Solid' Says Nova CEO

The outlook for the polyolefins industry continues to be solid after rebounding from lows in the latter half of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, Randy Woelfel, CEO of Nova Chemicals told CW at the National Plastics Expo (NPE) currently being held in Orlando. "We expect to see polyethylene (PE) growth continue to track quite well with industrial production growth,” Woelfel says. "Today there is plenty of uncertainty, but generally there is an increasingly optimistic undertone to the outlook for industrial production growth and acceleration.”...
