Mariner West Pipeline Seeks NGL Volume Commitments from Shippers

Sunoco Logistics Partners says it will begin open season for shippers to secure volumes of natural gas liquids (NGL) for its Mariner West pipeline joint venture with MarkWest Liberty Midstream and Resources (Houston, PA). The companies are building an ethane pipeline from MarkWest Liberty’s Houston, PA processing and fractionation complex to Sarnia, ON in order to transport ethane produced in the Marcellus Shale play to the ethane-short region of Eastern Canada.   The project is anticipated to have an initial capacity to transport up to 50,000...
