Regions :: North America :: Canada Kemira Sells Canadian Hydrogen Peroxide Plant to Evonik Industries6:55 AM MDT | October 27, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Kemira has signed a contract to sell its hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plant based at Maitland, ON to Evonik Industries. Closing of the transaction is planned for the end of November. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction will have “some positive impact on Kemira’s net profit” in the fourth quarter of this year. Evonik is the second largest global producer of H2O2 behind Solvay.
