K+S makes progress with Legacy potash project in Canada

K+S says it has made further progress with the construction of a new potash plant in Canada, the Legacy project. The first cavern for extracting potash brine solution was recently connected at the site at a depth of 1,500 meters. Future production caverns will be based on this initial, test cavern, the company says. “This is a very significant milestone for our Legacy project.
