K+S, Canadian Pacific sign long-term potash transport agreement

K+S Potash Canada (Saskatoon, SK), a fully owned subsidiary of K+S (Kassel, Germany); and Canadian Pacific (CP; Calgary, AB) have signed an exclusive long-term, volume-based contract for the transportation of potash products from K+S’s planned Legacy Site mine, K+S has announced. The contract is for potash to be moved from the Legacy Site near Moose Jaw and Regina, SK, to a western Canadian port for export, and via CP’s extensive railroad network to Canadian and US markets.
