Distributor Caldic buys Canadian supplier of food ingredients

Chemical producer and distributor Caldic (Rotterdam) says it has completed the acquisition of food ingredients distributor Nealanders International (Mississauga, ON) from Birch Hill Equity Partners (Toronto). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Nealanders says it is Canada's leading food ingredients supplier. The company distributes food ingredients across Canada and US, and also manufactures antioxidants, release agents, bakery concentrates, dough conditioners, and vitamin and mineral enrichment blends.
