Clariant Closes Two Plants in North America

Clariant says it will close its Milford, DE and Lachine, PQ masterbatches facilities and transfer production to more modernized sites at Albion, MI and Toronto, respectively. Production at Milford will be phased out gradually through mid-2010, while production at Lachine will end in December. The closures will result in the loss of 33 jobs at Milford and 10 at Lachine.
