Chemicals Sector Rail Traffic Rises 0.4%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 0.4% year-on-year for the week ended November 26, to 36,083 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). U.S. traffic fell 2.3%, to 24,504 cars. Canadian traffic rose 6.9%, to 10,518 cars, while Mexican traffic was up 4.7%, to 1,061 cars.
