Chemicals Sector Rail Traffic Falls 6.3%

Chemicals sector rail traffic in North America rose 6.3% year-on-year during the week ended February 25, to 41,529 cars, according to the Association of American Railroads (AAR; Washington). U.S. traffic was down 3.5%, to 30,045 cars. Canadian traffic fell 13.4%, to 10,335 cars, while Mexican traffic was down 8%, to 1,149 cars.
