Canada approves Dow AgroSciences corn and soybean trait4:46 PM MDT | October 22, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Dow AgroSciences, a subsidiary of Dow Chemical, says that Canadian regulatory authorities have approved its Enlist corn trait and soybean trait, part of the company’s Enlist weed control system, for food, feed, and environmental release. The traits provide tolerance to 2,4-D herbicide—giving Canadian farmers technology for dealing with resistant weeds in both crops, the company says.
