Regions :: North America :: Canada Cabot to Resume Tantalum Mining3:43 PM MDT | May 12, 2011 | Vincent Valk Cabot Corp. will resume tantalum mining at a mine in Manitoba, Canada wholly owned by Tantalum Mining Corporation of Canada (Tanco), a Cabot subsidiary, due to rising demand. The company halted production in 2009 in response falling demand during the recession.
