CF Industries restarts Alberta nitrogen complex after flooding

CF Industries announced today that it has begun restarting its operating units at its nitrogen complex at Medicine Hat, AB. The company shut down operations at the complex on 21 June as a precaution to possible flooding. The site is about 200 feet above the river level, however, the company says, the pump house containing equipment used to draw river water for the plant operations is located near the riverbank.
