Williams selects Honeywell UOP technology for PDH facility

Williams says it has chosen Honeywell’s UOP C3 Oleflex process technology to produce propylene for its recently announced propane dehydrogenation (PDH) project at Alberta, Canada. The facility will convert propane recovered from oil sands off-gas into polymer-grade propylene, and the PDH facility will be the first in Canada with annual capacity of about 1 billion pounds, the company says.
