Taminco beats estimates on solid amines results

Taminco today announced a second-quarter profit of $14 million, compared with a loss of $13 million in the year-ago quarter, on sales up 21% year-on-year (YOY), to $370 million. Adjusted earnings totaled 27 cts/share, ahead of analysts’ consensus estimate of 24 cts/share, as reported by Thomson Reuters (New York).
