Regions :: North America TPC Board Approves Dehydrogenation Restart9:14 AM MDT | September 13, 2012 | Vincent Valk TPC Group's board of directors has approved the restart project of the company's dehydrogenation facility in Houston. The $265-million project will refurbish and restart the assets to produce on-purpose isobutylene with a capacity of 650 million pounds/year from isobutane feedstock. The isobutylene will serve as a feedstock for many of the company's other production operations, including methyl tert-butyl ether, polyisobutylene, high-purity isobutylene and diisobutylene.
