Swedish pharma group Meda to acquire Acton Pharmaceuticals

Meda (Solna, Sweden), a specialty pharma group, says it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the development company Acton Pharmaceuticals (Marlborough, MA), including the proprietary product Aerospan, an inhaler for the treatment of asthma that contains the active substance flunisolide.
