Study Finds BPA Affects Human Sperm Quality

A new study by Dr. De-Kun Li and associates at the Kaiser Permanente Foundation (Oakland, CA), a health research group, has found that bisephenol-A (BPA) exposure adversely impacts sperm quality in men. The study of 218 Chinese factory workers found that high levels of BPA in urine were associated with two to four times the normal risk of low sperm concentration, low sperm vitality, and abnormal sperm movement.
