PolyOne acquires glass and carbon fiber manufacturer

PolyOne announced it is acquiring Glasforms (Birmingham, AL)—a manufacturer of glass and carbon fiber reinforced polymers and advanced composite products—for $34 million. The company says the acquisition will fit its specialty segment and will be its entry into advanced composite materials.
