Pilot Chemical acquires specialty and surfactant manufacturer

Pilot Chemical (Cincinnati) says it has acquired personal care firm Mason Chemical (Arlington Heights, IL). Financial terms were not disclosed. Pilot says the acquisition will strengthen its household, industrial and institutional (HI&I), personal care and oil and gas portfolios with the addition of registered and non-registered biocidal quats and tertiary amine derivatives.
