OSHA announces local initiative for inspections of industries using hazardous chemicals

The US Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is launching a local emphasis program in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri for programmed health inspections of industries known to use hazardous chemicals and which have reported releases of these chemicals to EPA, OSHA has announced. The goal is to reduce occupational illnesses and deaths.
