New Eastman solvent set to change the chemistry of clean

Eastman Chemical says it has developed a new high-performance, readily biodegradable solvent for light- and heavy-duty cleaners that is effective at neutral pH and meets EPA requirements for low vapor pressure volatile organic compound (VOC) exemption in consumer products.
