New EPA ORD program to evaluate low-dose effects of endocrine disruptors

EPA says it is working on a “state of the science” paper to update its research on low-dose health effects for endocrine disruptors. The findings will provide information to help inform how EPA assesses the safety of chemicals by determining if the current methods used adequately portray possible certain links between levels of exposure and adverse health effects, the agency says.
