M&A: Market in Flux

The chemicals M&A market is in a period of flux, as a gap in perceived value is starting to close and players from developing markets are emerging as buyers, speakers at CW's webcast "M&A: Retrenchment or Recovery?" said last week. While there is still a perceived value gap between buyers and sellers, that gap is smaller than it was earlier this year, says Lamar Chambers, senior v.p. and CFO at Ashland.
