Lonza Completes Acquisition of U.S. Software Firm

Lonza says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of software company MODA Technology Partners (Wayne, PA). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. MODA technology provides paperless, quality control solutions for regulated, manufacturing processes, and through the acquisition, Lonza will expand its rapid testing solutions, informatics platform in existing markets such as pharmaceuticals, and it allows entry into new market segments, Lonza says.
