Lonza Acquires U.S. Contract Manufacturer

Lonza says it has entered the viral-based manufacturing market with its acquisition of Vivante GMP Solutions (Houston, TX). Vivante is a custom manufacturing organization producing viral-based therapeutics, and the acquisition advances Lonza’s strategy to broaden its biologics custom service offering for the growing viral vaccine and gene therapy markets, Lonza says.
