Liveris was elected for a 2-year term beginning January 2013 and will succeed Jamie Dimon, current chairman and CEO of J.P. Morgan Chase. Members of the organization meet three times a year to discuss public policy and economic issues relevant to the members’ business with government officials and other leaders in education, science, and technology.
