Liveris named chairman of the Business Council

Dow chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris was elected chairman of the Business Council (Washington), an organization comprised of US CEOs that advises the government on business practices. Liveris was elected for a 2-year term beginning January 2013 and will succeed Jamie Dimon, current chairman and CEO of J.P. Morgan Chase.
