Lawmakers Consider Changes to RoC Process

Industry representatives told U.S. lawmakers last week that the process used to compile the National Report on Carcinogens (RoC) lacks proper criteria for ensuring the scientific data used is consistent and transparent, lacks checks and balances including adequate peer review, and relies on outdated methodologies.
