LSB restarts Pryor facility

LSB Industries announced today that it has resumed ammonia production at its Pryor, OK facility after being taken out of service to perform unplanned maintenance and to improve equipment reliability. The facility is currently building ammonia inventory and plans to resume urea ammonia nitrate (UAN) production in January 2014, the company says. The facility manufactures ammonia, urea, nitric acid and UAN. The facility was shut down in October, and was scheduled to resume production in November, but the scope of the repair and upgrade became more extensive...
