Incitec Pivot approves world-scale ammonia project in Louisiana

Incitec Pivot Ltd. (IPL; Melbourne) has approved an $850-million investment for the construction of an 800,000-m.t./year ammonia manufacturing plant at Waggaman, LA, IPL announced today. The plant will be located on a brownfield site that forms part of the Cornerstone Chemicals complex, situated on the industrial corridor along the Mississippi River, the company says.
