Regions :: North America Evonik and Idesa to form JV to build sodium cyanide plant in Mexico12:25 PM MST | February 22, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Evonik Industries says that its CyPlus (Hanau, Germany) subsidiary and Grupo Idesa (Mexico City) are close to signing a joint venture agreement for the construction of a sodium cyanide plant at Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. The planned jv facility will have a production capacity of 40,000 m.t./year and is expected to become operational in the first quarter of 2015, Evonik says.
