Evonik Acquires Remaining Stake in Evonik Silco Materials

Evonik Degussa has acquired the outstanding shares of colloidal silica maker Evonik Silco Materials (Portland, OR). Evonik initially purchased a controlling stake in Harris & Ford Silco (Portland) in April 2010 and renamed the company Evonik Silco Materials.
