Eastman to add carboxylic acids capacity

Eastman Chemical announced today that it will debottleneck carboxylic acid plants at its Longview, TX, and Kingsport, TN, facilities to support increasing internal and external demand. The additional capacity is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter and will add approximately 50 million lbs, Eastman says.
