EU seeks suspension of some neonicotnoid insecticide uses

The European Commission says it wants EU member states to suspend for two years the use of three neonicotinoid insecticides on sunflowers, rapeseed, corn and cotton, and crops attractive to honeybees, and to prohibit the sale and use of seeds treated with products containing these agricultural chemicals.
