EPA finalizes CMAS rule, extends compliance date

Moss: Dialogue with EPA helped pare requirements. EPA has finalized its Chemical Manufacturing Area Sources (CMAS) rule, and changes made will give industry more certainty and narrow the universe of emissions sources affected by the rule, industry representatives say. ACC and Socma say they welcome EPA’s efforts to answer industry’s concerns, but are disappointed that some of industry’s recommended changes were not included.
