Regions :: North America Dow Chemical to Boost Freeport MDI Capacity by 50%9:34 AM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Dow Chemical says it plans to increase methylene di-para-phenylene isocynate (MDI) capacity by 50%, to 500 million lbs/year of name-plate capacity, over the next three years at its Freeport, TX complex. The expansion will take place in two stages, with the first half of the additional capacity scheduled for completion in early 2008.
