DSM completes acquisition of Fortitech

DSM says it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Fortitech (Schenectady, NY) for $634 million. Fortitech is a leader in customized, value-added food ingredient blends for food and beverage, infant nutrition, and dietary supplements industries, DSM says. Fortitech has six production sites located in New York; California; Campinas, Brazil; Kuala Lumpur; Gadstrup, Denmark; and Poznan, Poland, with sales offices in China and Mexico.
