DSM Buys Urethane Resins Maker

DSM says it has acquired high performance urethane resins producer Soluol (East Providence, RI). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. DSM says the acquisition “enhances” its presence in the North American specialty resins market, and adds new technology. The deal includes Soluol’s production plant at East Providence, DSM says.
