Cool Planet, Malaysian biomass processor sign biorefinery deal

Biobased fuels and char firm Cool Planet Energy Systems (Camarillo, CA) and Acritaz Greentech (Selangor), the biomass processing arm of Malaysia's Acritaz Group, announced that they have signed an agreement to study the viability of building of multiple commercial facilities in Malaysia using Cool Planet's technology. The plan is to begin construction on the first plant in 2014.
