CIDX Enters New Territory With Focus on Plant Floor

The Chemical Industry Data Exchange (CIDX) says it has launched an initiative to develop standards aimed at improving the interoperability of plant floor computers to back-office ERP systems, and to external systems of vendors that provide plant construction, operations, and maintenance. The project is CIDX’s first in the area of plant construction and operations standards.
