CB&I shareholders approve acquisition of Shaw Group

CB&I (The Woodlands, TX) says that shareholders have approved the company's acquisition of the Shaw Group (Baton Rouge, LA), an engineering and construction group. Shaw had previously sold its energy and chemicals division to Technip earlier this year. CB&I says 90% of votes were in favor of the acquisition proposal. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter...
