Braskem, Pequiven Consider Investment at Camaçari

Venezuela’s state petrochemical company Pequiven (Caracas) and Brazilian petrochemical firm Braskem (São Paulo) are considering the possibility of cooperating on unspecified petrochemical investments at Brazil’s northern petchem complex at Camaçari, Brazilian news reports say. Venezuela president Hugo Chávez and Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva meet today in the Northern Brazilian city of Salvador, Bahia and are expected to sign a series of development agreements between the two countries.
