Bayer MaterialScience buys DuPont's Baytown aniline plant

Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) has acquired DuPont’s Baytown, TX–based aniline production plant, BMS said earlier this week. Financial terms have not been disclosed. Aniline is a key feedstock used to produce methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI), used to make polyurethanes.
