Bayer Acquires Urethane Line

Bayer MaterialScience says it has acquired Stepan’s pour-in-place, spray, and molded polyurethane foam systems business for about $9.5 million. The business makes insulation materials for use in appliances, water heaters, roofs, and other applications, and reports average annualized sales of about $16 million.
