BASF to Increase Prices for Acrylic Acid and Acrylic Esters

BASF says it will increase the price of its acrylic acid and acrylic esters by 10 cts/lb in North and South America on July 1. Products affected include butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, glacial acrylic acid, and methyl acrylate. “These increases are due to elevated operating costs from rapidly increasing raw material prices associated with tight supply in the propylene, oxo-alcohols and acrylates markets,” BASF...
